This year we are having two summer camps in Tempe, AZ. Both summer camps will be located at our Tempe karate studio, Sandoval Freestyle Karate, on the southwest corner of McClintock & Warner. Our 2023 Tempe summer camps will last three-days; kids will learn to socialize and stay active while learning new skills. Our first Tempe summer camp is on Tuesday, June 20 – Thursday, June 22 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM; kids will learn how to use Nunchucks in a safe environment (don’t worry they’re foam!). During our second summer camp kids will break wood boards! This camp is also from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It starts on Tuesday, July 11 and ends on Thursday, July 13. Both summer camps are for kids between the ages of six (6) and twelve (12). If you’re interested in bringing your kid(s) we encourage them to invite their siblings and friends, so they can create memories and enjoy these exciting events together. Plus, they’ll be able practice together after each summer camp.

Tempe Nunchuck Summer Camp
Location: Sandoval Freestyle Karate (Tempe, AZ)
When: Tues. June 20 – Thur. June 22 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Ages: 6 – 12
Get your kid out of the house during the summer by bringing them to our Nunchuck Summer Camp in Tempe on McClintock & Warner. Kids will learn to use Nunchucks in a safe environment with martial arts instructors. Make sure you invite your friends and siblings, so you can enjoy camp together. The three-day camp is only $89 per child, plus the cost of foam nunchucks. If you refer a child, you’ll both get free nunchucks; either way, each kid will leave with them when camp is over.

Tempe Board Breaking Summer Camp

Our second summer camp in Tempe, AZ is a board breaking camp, where kids will learn to break boards in half! Our board breaking camp is a three-day camp full of excitement and fun. Kids will stay active, socialize with kids their age and learn new skills. Please invite siblings and friends, so they can experience this camp together. The camp is only $89/child and each kid will leave with their broken wood board trophy!
